School Systems:
Since 2001, throughout Wrangell and Petersburg, Alaska, we have provided year-around transportation for the local elementary, middle school, and high school systems. We ferry the kids and their supporters (parents, siblings, coaches, teachers) to basketball, wrestling, volleyball, baseball, swimming, and music events.
Organizations, Groups, and Clubs We Work With:
Road Scholar Program (Elderhostel Program): We have worked with the Road Scholar program for many years providing tours to LeConte Glacier (Breakaway link) and to Telegraph Creek (Breakaway link). Offered are packages for several days of activities and adventures.
Alaska Crossings: Crossings works with children from around Alaska. Kids are taken to surrounding islands and to the Stikine River (Breakaway link) for 7-week programs to help them work out behavioral issues. We provide their Stikine River transportation.

Ruff It Cabins and General Store:
This is for those looking for something more than just a day of fishing. We do transportation services for Ruff It Lodge, which is located in Whale Pass on Prince of Wales Island. Working with Jenny Vasser in recent years, there's no doubt about the remarkable return rate of visitors. If interested, contact them early for available dates.
Another lodge located in Whale Pass on Prince of Wales Island. It's just across the bay from Ruff It Cabins. We have provided transportation for them via Alaska Airlines flights into Wrangell for a number of years. You can catch a truckload of Silvers and simply have a great time.
Whether you fly into Wrangell on Alaska Airlines Flight 65 from Seattle, Washington, or Flight 64 from Juneau, Alaska, Breakaway Adventures will pick you up at the airport and jet-boat you out to either of these lodges. We know you want to see it all. Witness an incredible backdrop, fish, observe bears in their natural habitat, and explore the LeConte Glacier. We 're ready for you!
